On the morning of 15 September, Farming Habitat welcomed a new group of enthusiastic parent volunteers!

During the Orientation Day, new and returning parent volunteers toured the venue together and learned more about the Farming Habitat environment, its daily operations, and their future volunteer roles. The school also prepared practical souvenirs for the parents, including aprons, sun-protection sleeves, and hats. Fully geared up, everyone gathered for a cheerful group photo, marking the beginning of another exciting volunteer journey!

One of the highlights of the day was, of course, the 15-minute farming experience! Led by our Farm Coordinator, parents stepped into the fields to help with weeding while discovering different plants and a fascinating variety of insects along the way. It was a wonderful opportunity to get up close to nature, and everyone enthusiastically immersed themselves in the experience, enjoying the natural ecosystem and the fun of farming at Farming Habitat.

After the hands-on experience, parents enjoyed specially prepared farm drinks while chatting in groups and gaining a deeper understanding of the vision and philosophy behind Farming Habitat. Filled with laughter and lively conversations, the Orientation Day came to a joyful close.
